Famous Celebrities We've Lost Recently

As children, many of those we idolized and admired were giants on the TV or in sports, and so many of them were older than us. As the years go by, we get hit hard by news of their deaths, whether at a ripe old age or unbearably young. Some are legendary, some were widely admired, and some were even loathed. But all left behind people who loved them.

Dustin Diamond's career was defined by Saved by the Bell, the role he would occupy for 13 years. Sure, he did a few other things, including directing, stand-up, and even wrestling, but it's his role as Samuel "Screech" Powers that endures in the minds of many. He died in February 2021 aged just 44.

Hank Aaron defined baseball in the mid-50s through the mid-70s, with most of his time spent with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves. He would go on to break Babe Ruth's home run record and still has numerous records to his name. Rightly considered one of the greatest baseball players in history, Aaron died in January 2021 at the age of 86.

Siegfried Fischbacher knew how to put on a show — usually with white lions and white tigers as well his partner, Roy Horn. They were legendary in Vegas as having  one the most widely visited shows. Although Fischbacher was born in Germany in 1939, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States and died in May 2020. He was 75 years old.
