Born on April 5, 1993, Heath Hussar began his journey to internet fame with an app known as Vine. He began making 6-second videos with a former high school classmate and rival, Zane Hijazi. Roughly a year ago, Heath recalled getting a call from a panicked neighbor in the middle of the night. The neighbor warned him and Mariah to leave home right away, as a state of emergency had been declared for the residents in that part of California.

Heath and Mariah went to cast-mate David Dobrik's home to seek shelter. They then went back to their ranch in Porter to collect a variety of valuables and personal belongings, including electronics and clothing. The fire continued its cancerous spread throughout the neighborhood, thus destroying homes and causing cars to explode. The night sky was an angry ball of fiery orange and red, and the fire left much destruction in the aftermath. Heath and Mariah, however, remained relatively unharmed, but continue to think about how they just narrowly escaped to this day. Others, however, were not so lucky, and many had lost their homes and everything they had ever worked for.

Turning Devastation into Hope

Heath and Mariah made a live film of their narrow escape from total destruction. They eventually returned to film the destruction in progress and returned to photograph the rampant destruction that was left over as a result of the wildfires that ravaged the entire neighborhood.

The wildfire that ravaged his neighborhood has not stopped Heath in the pursuit of personal and financial success. To this very day, he continues to create live content that entertains, and the amount of people who follow him remains strong.
