Shay Shariatzadeh is the girlfriend of the multi-talented wrestler and actor, John Cena. It's rumored that the pair have been together for over a year, but they made their first official appearance together in October 2019.

John's ex, Nikki Bella, was a professional wrestler just like John, but Shay definitely isn't. Shay got her engineering degree from the University of British Columbia and currently works in Victoria, BC.

She's a Mama's Girl

In a Life and Style Magazine interview, Shay says that she looks up to her mother the most. Her mom, who is a surgeon, showed bravery in moving her family to Canada to provide them with a better life.

Shay Used to Work in Retail

Prior to obtaining her undergrad engineering degree, Shay worked at retail stores throughout the Vancouver area. The Canadian worked at clothing stores such as Guess and La Vie En Rose.

Shay Still Lives in Canada

As far as we know, Shay still lives and works in Canada, and she and John travel between Canada and the US to see each other.

Shay was spotted with a rock on her finger in February 2020, which sparked engagement rumors, but nothing has been confirmed by the couple as of yet.
