Pat has gone on to do just about everything, from sports analyst to head guy in the uber popular Barstool Sports to WWE. He was known as a renowned bachelor for most of his life in the spotlight, but when he met his now-wife, Samantha, that all changed completely.
A Longer Courtship Than Pat’s NFL Career
Samantha and Pat didn’t get married until August of 2020, but it was the opposite of a whirlwind romance. Keeping things on a slow and steady timeline that Samantha wanted, the 2 dated for over a decade before Pat proposed in 2019. He flew Samantha in a private helicopter to a little secret spot in Hawaii, surprising her with a proposal and a huge engagement diamond ring. The 2 went on to have a lavish—and very “Pat-centric” wedding the following August.

Samantha has her own work that keeps her busy, with the foundation she founded called Fur the Brand. Her foundation is unlike any other, as it offers support for pets that are in dire need of serious medical attention, like surgeries or rehabilitation. This type of medical care can add up for owners, and Fur the Brand works tirelessly to financially aid those owners so they never have to make the decision between necessary pet medical expenses and having to euthanize their pets because they can’t afford care. Samantha is also involved in other pet organizations, and loves to joke that she is even certified in cat CPR.
