Angelina Jolie Seen With Her All-Grown-Up Kids at Eternals Premiere
Multi-hyphenate actor, director, and activist Angelina Jolie brought extra energy to the highly anticipated premiere of her new movie, Eternals, when she showed up with five of her six stunning children in tow — one of whom made a serious style statement in a very recognizable outfit.
Jolie posed for photographers flanked by her brood, including son Maddox (20), twins Vivienne and Knox (13), and daughters Zahara (16) and Shiloh (15). Missing from the event was son Pax, 17. Jolie shares her children with ex-husband Brad Pitt; the two mega stars, who married in 2014, have been embroiled in a drama-filled custody dispute since splitting up in 2019. This past June, a judge in the case issued a temporary ruling splitting custody between the former couple — sources report decision elated Pitt while Jolie was less than enthused at the outcome.
Making the Eternals event even more special, daughter Zahara chose to wear a shimmering silver gown previously donned by her mother at the Academy Awards in 2014. While Angelina was later quoted discussing her kids’ outfits, in particular the vintage dress worn by Zahara, the upcycled fashion was first spotted by eagle-eyed fans online who posted their own side-by-side style comparisons highlighting the similarities between mother and daughter.
As for Jolie herself, the renowned humanitarian was a style standout in an earth-toned strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and layered gold accessories including a unique metal adornment that ran from her lower lip down past her chin.
Of course, the LA premiere was far from the first time Jolie celebrated a film release or supported an important cause alongside her children. Zahara and her mother walked Variety’s Power of Women red carpet on September 30 hand in hand, while her siblings have made appearances at the debuts of Jolie films Kung-Fu Panda 3 and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, among others.
The star-studded case of The Eternals includes a slew of other notable names, including Richard Madden and Kit Harington, both of whom made names for themselves in the HBO juggernaut Game of Thrones, as well as Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, and the recently beefed-up Kumail Nanjiani.
The movie, another entry in the lauded Marvel franchise, is said to be unlike any other superhero movie released to date, with groundbreaking representation including the first deaf and gay superheroes to hit the big screen. Marvel fans will get their chance to react to director Chloé Zhao’s masterpiece when the movie opens nationwide on November 5.
