Growing Up on Staten Island

Pete was born in 1993, the first child of Amy and Scott Davidson. His Mom is Irish-Catholic, his Dad Jewish. Pete was raised Catholic and attended St. Joseph of the Sea High School.

Tragedy struck the family during the September 11 attacks. Pete's Dad was lost on 9/11, last seen running into the Marriott World Trade Center.

Dealing with the Loss

Pete says his Dad's death was "overwhelming, " and he entertained thoughts of suicide. He acted out in school and was constantly in trouble. He tried college but dropped out to try comedy.

His first gig was at a Staten Island bowling when he was 16. He did it on a dare. His initial television gig was on MTV and that led to appearances on various reality shows. Pete does take somewhat normal vacations. Earlier in 2020 he ducked out on an SNL episode to take his new girlfriend to a friend's wedding in Miami.
