Embattled singer-songwriter Marilyn Manson is making some major real estate movies.

The singer, born Brian Hugh Warner, just sold his Hollywood Hills pad for just over $1.8 million. The 3-bedroom home just went on the market in October, and Manson got even more than he was hoping for thanks to a bustling housing market.

Listing pics show a beautifully decorated home that’s surprisingly bright and traditional considering the Ohio-born entertainer's controversial career and reported ties to the Church of Satan. The three-bedroom home boasts a great room with soaring 20-foot ceilings striped by contrasting beams, wrought-iron trimmed staircase leading to an open-concept second story, and dueling master suites.

Totaling an impressive 2,711 square feet, the property also includes a garage that’s been converted into a gym, a recording studio, and private patios and garden space so the new owners have plenty of room to relax outdoors.

It’s unclear whether Manson is leaving the LA area altogether, but if he chooses to hang around, he can still crash at his place in West Hollywood. That apartment may prove more difficult to off-load given its role in some of the allegations recently leveled at the Mechanical Animals hit maker.

Several women have come forward to accuse Manson of various forms of abuse, including ex-girlfriends who told Rolling Stone the shock rocker would lock them in a booth in his WeHo apartment when they were “bad.” The booth was reportedly soundproofed, creating a sort of sensory deprivation chamber used to psychologically torment those secured inside.

Manson has a long string of famous and less-well-known exes, including actress Rose McGowan, to whom Manson was engaged in the late 1990s/early 2000s, and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, who married Manson in 2004 before filing for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences” in 2006.

Manson later had an on-again off-again relationship with True Blood and Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood. In 2021, Wood came forward to accuse her former beau of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse that left her struggling with complex post-traumatic stress disorder.

It's possible Manson decided to sell off his Hollywood Hills manse to help pay for his legal bills. He’s currently the defendant in four sexual assault lawsuits. One, filed by Game of Thrones star Esme Bianco, accuses Manson for sexual assault, physical abuse, and human trafficking. Suits brought by Manson’s former assistant and a model list similar charges.

As for Manson, the provocative performer maintains the accusations are nothing more than a “coordinated attack” led by people “cynically and dishonestly seeking to monetize and exploit the #MeToo movement.”
