Jerome Lester Horwitz, better known as Curly Howard in Three Stooges comedic trio, was diagnosed in 1945 with high blood pressure. The comedian reported feeling a decline in energy and was also diagnosed with hypertension and obesity. His health forced him to leave the comedy group a year later.
Everybody knows who Oprah Winfrey is, but what you may not know is that the former talk show host and businesswoman has high blood pressure. Many of her issues are probably related to her yo-yoing weight, but recently she has had it under control.
John Singleton, director, producer, and screenwriter, suffered a massive stroke on April 28, 2019. SIngleton was struggling with high blood pressure long before his stroke, though.
