Skilled Photographers Capture Pictures That Will Twist Your Brain

These days technology makes it possible to edit images to look like just about anything you want. They can be formatted to add or subtract people, alter landscapes, adjust colors, and correct perceived errors. When done well it can be difficult to tell an image that has been altered to look a certain way from a photograph that has been left alone. And on the internet it's common to question the validity of images shared across social media and other platforms. But just because a picture seems to be capturing a moment to good to be real, doesn't mean that's always the case.

While it takes skill to create artistic images out of basic pictures, Photoshop isn't the only way to memorialize awe-inspiring or completely crazy moments. Sometimes, if you have the right camera, the right lighting, the right angle, and just the right timing, you can capture things not even a photo editor can manage. A perfect sunset, a whale breaching in the ocean, a triple rainbow after a storm, or a house that appears to be flying down the freeway because of how reflections and movement and weather combine around it. Here are 47 phenomenal pictures that you won't believe haven't been Photoshopped, taken by people that probably couldn't believe how lucky they were. These images will amaze and inspire you, and in some cases, leave you completely mind-blown.
